What does 'dry' cleaning mean?
- The dry cleaning process does not use water but rather a spirit-based solvent. Since
there is no water, it's not 'wet' and so it became known as 'dry' cleaning.
Are the chemicals dangerous?
- No, they are well-regulated and compeltely safe to use. Nowadays there are no after-effects
once the cleaning process has been completed
Is dry cleaning environmentally friendly?
- The modern process uses state-of-the art techology and equipment to minimise waste products and maximise cleaning efficiency.
- All waste products are recycled via a specialist company, a process which is again heavily controlled by government regulation,
and Mike Moran closely monitors developments within the industry personally.
