DO NOT try to remove stains with hot water. It will set any stains containing protein, such as blood, milk or egg.

 

DO NOT try to remove grease-based stains, such as meat fat,mayonnaise or candle wax, dry cleaning is the nest option.

 

DO NOT use soap to remove stains. Again soap will set stains containing tannins such as tea or coffee, some berries, felt-tip pen, ink and fizzy drinks.

 

White wine can be applied to red wine stains, but must be done immediately the wine has been spilt.
